Butterfinger is a brand that also appreciates the web. Last year, it launched The Butterfinger Comedy Network on Yahoo! Video, a UGC (user-generated content) comedy channel that aims to be a beacon of web-video funny in a sea of web-video not-so-funny. We dig Butterfinger's attitude, and when Yahoo! asked us to design this promotional microsite we tackled it with all the wisecracking, web-loving spirit we could muster. And, finally, Butterfinger is a brand that appreciates pranks. To promote its launch of the UGC channel, Butterfinger told the world it was shortening its name to, simply, The Finger. Now that's a candy bar to give. |
